Chikankari Tunic

A full-sleeve tunic in modal cotton, hand-worked in chikankari embroidery. In black.

• Chikankari is a Lucknow tradition — fine white-on-fabric shadow work, stitched by hand, which is why no two pieces are identical.
• Chikankari on black is unusual — the craft is normally shown on pastels. Against black the stitching stands out sharply rather than blending in.
• Modal cotton is softer than plain cotton — it's made from regenerated cellulose, giving it a smoother, more fluid feel and better drape.
• Full sleeves. Sizes S to XXL.

Care: Normal wash, cold water, turn inside out — hand embroidery catches easily in a drum. No bleach, dry in shade, iron on the reverse.
